Overview
The MVIS® Global Video Gaming & eSports Index is designed to track the overall performance of companies involved in video game development, eSports, and related hardware and software globally. The Index includes only the largest and most liquid listed companies that generate at least 50% of their reveues from video gaming and/or eSports.
On each rebalance the Index includes only the largest and most liquid listed companies that generate at least 50% (25% for current components) of their revenues from video gaming and/or eSports. This may include companies whose business activity involves the development of video games and related software and hardware; the provision of streaming services; or eSports events such as league operators, teams, distributors and platforms, and may include companies from developed, emerging and frontier markets.
Companies must have:
- Market cap exceeding US$150 million
- 3-month average daily trading volume of at least US$1 million
- At least 250,000 shares traded each month over the previous 6 months
The Index includes a minimum of 25 companies.
